From the centre of Rennes on the road to Lorient, we leave the 4-lane highway to follow the impoundment of Saint Thurial before reaching Plélan le Grand, the gateway to the Forest of Brocéliande.
We then head between the pines towards the landmark of the Brocéliande of the legend, the tomb of Merlin, and then Tréhorenteuc and the Vale of no return.
A stopover in Paimpont will provide an opportunity to have something to eat, before returning to Rennes through the Forges de Paimpont.
